Buying guide
Which sealed product should you buy?
The short version: a bundle to try a set, a full display when you want the best odds. The longer version is below.
English vs Japanese boxes
An English display holds 36 packs and 360 cards. A Japanese display holds 20 to 30 packs, so it looks smaller on paper — but the pull rates per pack are noticeably better, and only Japanese boxes carry a chance at a God Pack, where every card is an SR or higher.
- English box — 36 packs, 360 cards
- Japanese box — 20 to 30 packs, better pull rates
- God Pack chance on Japanese product only
- Both ship factory sealed
Why a box beats loose packs
Work out the price per pack and a full display is almost always the cheaper way to buy. More importantly, a box guarantees a far wider spread of the set, which means a much better shot at the Rare and Ultra Rare cards you actually want.
- Lower cost per pack than singles packs
- Wider spread across the set
- Better odds on Rare and Ultra Rare chases
- Sealed boxes hold their value better
